Thanks to everyone who’s found our Seinfeldian Chain via Lifehacker. We’re running this thing off of a Mac Mini in our apartment and hope it doesn’t crash and burn. Please enjoy it, and we’ll try to keep it alive and running for you. And hit us with all your comments and suggestions. We love em’.

Is there any way I could get a hold of the code for that chain thing? It would be nice to be able to run several from my local computer.

An idea: make the calendar a gadget for iGoogle please?

Hi hi,
@Posco, thanks for the idea. We’ll try to get that sorted out ASAP.
@keitas, I’ll consider that and let you know. Have you got Ruby on Rails etc. installed?

Very nice! It shouldn’t allow to cross days in the past, though… no cheats!

@Giovanni,
while I agree it would cut down on the cheating it might be a little inflexible for people who completed their daily goal but didn’t get to a computer to mark down their progress. Trying to stay as true to the paper ideal as possible.

No doubt. I’d imagine lifehacker sends some mega traffic to your mac Mini. It seems like just yesterday I learned what a Seinfeldian Chain was, and now it’s part of my webcabulary.

This is great - thanks. An iGoogle gadget would be awesome, too.

Great idea, I created two! I would love to be able to add them to my Google calendar.

I’d like to see one where you can start from any day you want. I started a running/juggling streak back on January 14 and would like to start my chain from then.
