I have been swimming most days recently. I’ve been through a few pairs of goggles too.

One pair of Zoggs broke within a couple of months. Another pair of cheap Speedo Kicks were tinted too dark, my fault for not thinking about that, but they also fogged up something terrible.

I’ve settled on a pair of colourless Speedo Speedsocket goggles that cost an outrageous GBP20. They don’t leak, don’t fog and have great visibility… though not quite as much as those delicate Zoggs.

The Zoggs were oversized and very comfortable. The Speedos are small and sit right up in the eye socket… very comfy while swimming but leave a deep marks after swimming, still, no leaks, no fog and the nose bridge doesn’t look like it is going to break like the Zoggs did.

Sadly none of these goggles will ever make me as fast as Michael Phelps.
